HOW IT WORKS

Connect a source. Keep the intelligence flowing.

Our semantic layer, built on an ontology, connects information across sources by meaning, location, time and relationships. This lets you query satellite observations, geospatial information and your own records together.

01

Make the connections

We prepare your sources and map relationships across live feeds, signal observations and your own records.

02

Build the foundation

We store the connected information in a graph database, ready for rapid analysis through our high performance query engine.

03

Put intelligence to work

Process incoming signals and data through configured workflows and specialist algorithms. Investigate observations, monitor activity and use the results in your existing tools.

Source changes may require updates. Processing time depends on the algorithm and workload; satellite collection, provider delivery and network transfer have their own timings.

Ontology layer for connected data

Falcon Spectra defines an ontology layer for supported data, including signal observations, and maps the agreed information into RDF triples.

The RDF data is stored and indexed in a triple store, a type of graph database designed for RDF data. A SPARQL engine queries this connected information.

Process and query

Configured workflows apply specialist algorithms and connect their results for analysis. Ontology mapping provides structure; it does not by itself execute those algorithms.

Queries over mapped and stored data can execute in milliseconds. Ingestion and algorithm execution have separate timings; processing latency depends on the algorithm and workload. Millisecond signal processing timings remain under testing.

Work across data types

Support includes raster data at scale, satellite imagery, RF and SAR data, GPS pings, aircraft ADS-B, maritime tracking and enterprise records. Source formats, mappings and processing workflows are confirmed for each implementation.

Your tools. Your algorithms.

Use the platform directly or as a data and processing backend for analytics, specialist algorithms, applications and optional AI models. We agree the interfaces and integrations for each deployment.

PLATFORM PERFORMANCE

Complex questions. Answers in milliseconds.

Query relationships across large, connected datasets in milliseconds, bringing satellite observations, geospatial information and your own data into the same analysis. Query times depend on the workload.

Ingestion and algorithm execution have separate, timings that depend on the workload. Millisecond signal processing timings remain under testing. Satellite collection, provider delivery and result transfer are excluded from these timings.

A HISTORICAL QUERY BENCHMARK

500× faster.

Our technology foundation ran a historical geospatial query in 42 seconds, compared with 6.4 hours using PostgreSQL with PostGIS.

*Historical geospatial query benchmark, rounded to 500×. Performance varies by workload. This is not a raw signal benchmark and does not measure RF/SAR processing or the full delivery workflow.

PERFORMANCE WITH A SMALLER FOOTPRINT

Advanced intelligence. Practical computing.

Supported workloads can run on a single consumer computer without a dedicated GPU or computing cluster. Your specialist algorithms may have different hardware requirements.

ABOUT FALCON SPECTRA

Born in the UAE. Built on global ingenuity.

Falcon Spectra is a UAE based space venture bringing together technologies from around the world to deliver intelligence from satellite data.

Our platform brings real time signal and data processing and rapid queries together with operational context. We prepare and connect the data, so organisations can focus on investigating observations, monitoring activity and making informed decisions.

THE MEANING OF SPECTRA

A spectrum of signals. A clearer picture.

“Spectra” is the plural of “spectrum”, a range of light, frequencies or signals. For us, it also represents the breadth of information we connect. From satellite imagery and radio signals to movement and business data, we bring different sources together to reveal relationships and deliver useful intelligence.

OUR NEXT HORIZON

Connected knowledge. Beyond Earth.

We are exploring how the same foundation can support future space missions, onboard data processing and autonomous operations.
